Your wedding day should be a stress-free, storybook occasion that you will remember fondly for years to come. That’s why one of our event coordinators will be with you every step of the way, from your first walk-through to the day of your event.
As you approach the big day, we’ll help you add a personal touch to your venue space, your menu, and the bar selection. We’ll coordinate any necessary rental and vendor needs and manage all of the logistics to make sure that everything goes smoothly for you.
The Rehearsal Dinner
Your celebration begins with the rehearsal dinner, and at Kenmure, this is the perfect opportunity to set the tone for your special occasion. Our event spaces allow you to “dress up the house” in a style that accommodates your personality and vision. With such a neutral palette, the formality of your dinner can range from a rustic get together to a black-tie gala. Depending on the size of your guest list, we can help you chose the perfect venue for your dinner. Options include:
- The Patio (up to 50 guests)
- The Sears Room (up to 50 guests)
- The Charleston Room (up to 260 guests)

The Welcome Party
Your first special evening doesn’t have to end after the rehearsal dinner. You can invite guests to an informal party afterward and enjoy some late evening hors d’oeuvres as well as an open bar. The entertainment options are up to you, from a s’mores bar with a bonfire to live music or a DJ. The evening is yours!
A Morning Round of Golf
Kenmure’s championship golf course is the perfect diversion before the big event. We’ll help your guests schedule tee times for 18 holes on the Joe Lee-designed course, noted for its rolling fairways and manicured greens. Special rates are available for wedding parties.
The Wedding Day
Long before the day of your wedding, our event coordinators work diligently to make certain that everything is ready for your arrival. From the dressing room prep to the receipt of any special-item deliveries the night before your ceremony, we manage all of the details so that everything is in proper order when the big moment arrives.
Once we’ve escorted your guests to where they need to be for the ceremony, we line up the wedding party and send the bride down the aisle in step with song of your choice. After the “I do’s,” we coordinate everything from the photoshoot to the transition to your reception. Throughout this memorable day, the Kenmure staff will be greeting, serving, and attending to your every need so that this important life moment is a flawless, enjoyable affair.
While your wedding party has photos taken immediately following the ceremony, your other guests are invited to a cocktail hour held either on the veranda or by the fireplace in our lounge.
If you choose to host your reception in the Charleston Room, your guests will enjoy the magnificent views afforded by the ballroom’s large windows, which overlook our grounds. The space also features a large dance floor and plenty of neutral space that can be personalized to your vision for the event.
The Farewell Brunch
As you and your spouse begin your lives as a married couple, your guests will have an opportunity to say their farewells at a drop-in brunch the day after your big day. This is usually a casual buffet-style meal, but we can also accommodate a set menu in our Sears or Charleston rooms.
